Survey finds big holes in little kids' dental care
Another reason not to drink water and stick only with tap water.
Overall I found the article very interesting and very well written. However, I found the reference to Katelyn mother as a "working mother" is something offensive, and absolutely unnecessary, because they relate to the context of the article. It could lead to the conclusion that the fact that they are somehow compromises the care of their children. Coincidentally, I was on the same dentist, in the article by a stay at home, the mother of the daughter needed extensive dental treatment after routinely send her daughter to bed with a bottle of juice filled. The working mother is irrelevant. Most parents know, I feed little fruit and vegetables, grains and all processed meat and meat as well as many juices, and sweet candy, the complete decay. I know all these parents that they are not too much, but the daily volume, I see really pretty much amounts to what we could eat Halloween. I think the parents need to understand that meat, juices, biscuits, sweets, and processed grains are not healthy children. This is an image to size, they have on my homepage ... **** The fault of the parents. They are so worried about themselves they **** their children fast food and feed are the **** they have there. More about their worriied **** **** SUV and cellphone, while their children's teeth rot from **** BLAH TO COUNCIL AND LAB ... How did an article on children's dental health to those ugly rhetoric? The two of you are more childish than the children, on which the article was written. what they do not say is that the American Dental Association. not recommend that children see a dentist until it is too late as 6 or 7 years. of age. Talk to all children dentist, and they will tell you should have a child as soon as teeth have been cut! Who are you kidding, the fat-assed S children are filling their mouths with candy, soda, and not at the national level required dental treatment. I see him every day. It is the fault of the overworked, bonds to the eye balls parents. Nuff sed. PS ... Blah in Bollingbrook ... Get A Life and act like a tree and go away. They have great spelling skills. Besides, self-righteous is my favorite thing to get in. Fat ass S-children? And what would category poking fun at overweight children and name calling in? I grew up in Iowa, where fluoride is water. Flouride helps the enamel on the teeth. Studies showed that it works well, too. I'm in my 40-he years, and on a recent trip to a new dentist, I was told that my teeth, especially the email, looked strong. I do not believe that Illinois does not. Now, I have a handful of voids from my early teenage years. And I've never investigated whether the fluoride may have adverse effects that are not associated with teeth. Now I can just one of the lucky people with very strong teeth, but I can proudly say that I have never had a cavity. When I was 3, all my teeth were limited to a disease that prevents full solidification of my email, if no cavities ever developed, and my permanent teeth were problem-free apart from a bit of crowding on my bottom. I find it hard to believe that people are not aware of the fact that your child with a bottle of juice or milk at bedtime or to help them sleep is bad for your teeth. Orange juice = sweet, sweet goodness in addition to citric acid, all known to damage the enamel of the teeth if not brushed or at least diluted. My mother, born and raised in Cambodia, and it was just common sense so as not to marinate my teeth at night. As for the "I think parents need to understand that meat, juices, biscuits, sweets, and processed grains are not healthy children." Comment, I must say that it is a bit stupid to make that statement. Meat may not be necessary (as in the case of vegans and vegetarians), but it is an important source of iron, protein and other necessary vitamins and minerals. Fruit juices are an excellent source for a variety of vitamins and minerals, and a healthy alternative to soda and koolaid. Sometimes a snack is simply not feasible. An apple will not help or encourage your child re-hydrate, and forcing him to chug a glass of water, like a toddler is not only virtually. Biscuits and sweets in moderation, sugar and fats that are necessary for bodily function as well. It is not the avoidance, practiced, but moderation. And to be quite honest perspective from a parent myself, what your child a cookie once in a while is not only healthy for your child, but your own mental health as well. |

RE: Survey finds big holes in little kids' dental care
The Gilberts 2nd grader’s tooth decay was so severe two years ago that dentists pulled six teeth, crowned two and filled five.Katelyn is among a growing number of young children with cavities, creating concern among dentists and parents who hoped that brushing and avoiding candy was enough to silence the drills. But with continual snacking and the use of non-fluoridated bottled water on the rise, experts say parents have to be even more vigilant.

RE: Survey finds big holes in little kids' dental care
There are a number of problems that affect the oral health of children, including tooth decay, thumb sucking, tongue thrusting, lip sucking, and early tooth loss. Even though baby teeth are eventually replaced with permanent teeth, keeping baby teeth healthy is important to a child's overall health and well-being.

RE: Survey finds big holes in little kids' dental care
Children like to eat sweet things. Many of the times children forgot about doing brush in night or after eating sweet food like chocolates, fruits, sweets and many more. So because of that this situation is happen in most of the children as compared to older. So for that parent must have to care about them.
