Quitting smoking
* Get enough rest. With a good night's sleep you're more likely to feel fresh and alert.
* Exercise regularly. Regular exercise raises your overall energy level, so you may feel less need for a boost.
* Take a brisk walk instead of smoking if you start feeling sluggish. Moving around is a drug-free stimulant.
* Eat regular, nutritious meals. Healthful foods are a great natural source of energy.
* Drink lots of cold water. It will refresh you as it helps clear your body of nicotine.
* Avoid getting bored, which can make you feel tired. Keep your mind active, perhaps by calling a friend, reading a new magazine, or playing a game.

I am really appreciated your efforts for writing all these, even i am agreed with all, but need to know about drinking lots of cold water, how can help for stopping smoking?

I tried and failed to stop smoking about 10 times so gave up "giving up"!!

But when I found myself wheezing in the mornings I decided it was time to dosomething so I picked up and read a book someone had given me years ago, Allen Carrs Easyway to Stop Smoking. I read it once, picked a day to stop smoking, started to read it again but never needed to finish it as I had stopped smoking for good and it was not at all as hard as all the previous failed efforts.

So I would strongly recommend that book to anyone. Off 'em 5 or 6 years now and never so much as a moment of temptation.

Smoking can harm our health and also teeth, yes it's too hard to quit smoking but if you are really dedicated you can do it. Just think, if you stop smoking you can save money, you can avoid lung disease, and can avoid any tooth and breath problem.

Another tip for give up smoking : Be very patient and believe that you can do it. Your will and dedication will help you stop smoking more than any other therapy or medications. Smoking is 70% connected with your mind and only 30% with your body.

There is no specific "recipe" for quiting smoking. It depends on willpower and addiction levels in different people. More likely, the people who are addicted to smoking are nervous, are having a intense job with a lot of problems and so on.
