Smoking puts you at a greater risk of developing dental caries due to plaque build up.Smoking also results in gum disease due to plaque and tartar build up. Smoking also interferes with the normal functioning of the cells in the gum tissue. It will Increased risk of developing oral cancer.

i dont smoke but why i have this black tar tar on my teeth T_T my dentist claims that I smoke but I dont. What could be the other causes of this black Tar-Tar aside from smoking?

Smoking is really bad for overall health. Cigarette is composed of approximately 4000 chemicals all of which are not good for the body. Nicotine is the main reason why you can't quit smoking. Nicotine is a very deadly poison.
