RE: Teeth Whitening Products That Really Work
my dentist told me the strips you can get really do work just not as fast.
she also said that you can get a at home process from the dentist
they make a "impression" and you get a custom fit tray and they give you the "gel" this was only about $350 .
she also said start using a toothpaste for sensitive teeth before you start and for a bit afterwards.
she said any whitening process can make the teeth sensitive

I used the Crest Whitestrips. They were about $50. I did see a noticeable difference, but my teeth became VERY sensitive.

Careful with the teeth whitening. Like Evey said, your teeth can become extremely sensitive with bleaching. You have to remember how your teeth are composed, what the enamel actually is, that it's porous, etc.
I had my teeth whitened dramatically when I had my bridge installed and my bottom teeth crowned. They showed me a bunch of examples of what the different shades were I could choose from. Most people go for blinding white. I went for a more natural shade.
Too many people go too white and then it looks like they're wearing dentures.

RE: Teeth Whitening Products That Really Work
My husband got a teeth whitening kit from his dentist for something like $500 and then we found the exact same kit on Amazon.com for less than $100! I ordered it for myself. It comes first with tooth impression trays that you fill with clay-like stuff and then create the impression of your uppers and lowers. Then you send that back and they create the actual molds. When you receive the molds back you are ready to whiten.

I paid $82.99 but I see that it has gone up to a little over $100 now. Sure better than the $799.99 retail price! And yes, it really works.

Whoa, that is awesome, I was going to get a tray from my dentist at $150.00 and I missed out on it because my offer expired.....??? ha? LOL. Thats what he said anyhow.

I used Crest strips, but they didn't work for me! The best thing that has worked for me is PlusWhite.....Teeth Whitener Gel, I found at Walmart, but I don't use this often.

Please please be careful because they do make your teeth, and gums very sensitive/ and I also think it might break down the enamel on your teeth if u do it too much.

I am going to check those out on Amazon!! Thank you for the info!

I got the trays from the dentist which cost about $350, I use them at least once a week. They made my teeth sensitive at first. I also use Crest whitening tooth paste and mouth wash. If you drink coffee, tea or eat blueberries brush as soon as you can afterwards.

I used the 5 minute whitening goop(don't remember the name) it worked for me, but my teeth also became sensitive so I also got some of the Enamel Strengthening toothpaste waited a few weeks and now I use that with the whitening.

RE: Teeth Whitening Products That Really Work
Momark and Ronzou put forward a very important point. Excessive teeth whitening can make your tooth enamel porous, because the bleaching agent in the whitening product penetrates your tooth enamel (that's the hard outer surface that we see) into the underlying dentine, and can affect the nerve endings within.

Most people walk away with only a mild tingling or numb sensation that goes away by itself in a few days. But others with really porous teeth (from too much cola-drinking, perhaps?) can suffer for weeks and even months...

And sometimes the whitening results can be patchy, not white enough, too white and fake-looking. There's 101 things that can go wrong, whether you choose to blow hundreds of dollars at a dentist, or using do-it-yourself home whitening kits.

I found this website that offers really good, unbiased information about the risks and misconception of various tooth whitening treatments. You can find it at *** THETOOTHWHITENING.COM ***Members who sign up for free get to download a tooth whitening report worth $37, that exposes some dark insider secrets of tooth whitening. I got mine 3 weeks ago, and found it a valuable read. Check it out if you're interested to get the facts before doing anything.

RE: Teeth Whitening Products That Really Work
I make a paste by mixing baking soda with H202. It is an extremely affordable method that works quite well, but it is slower than many other methods. I have experienced a noticable differece in just 10 days.

A few drops of hydrogen peroxide mixed with a heaped teaspoon full of baking soda will make a paste adequate to control the further yellowing of teeth and bring back their youthful and lustrous white in just a few months time. Brush thoroughly with this paste after mixing on a tissue or in a Dixie cup. Rinse thoroughly after with water.

blessings...Franco
